What We Build
Six Phases, One Accountable Crew
Every project we take on moves through the same disciplined sequence, and the same superintendant signs off at each step. There is no handoff gap between the operator cutting the pad and the pipe crew following behind, because they answer to the same office in Millcreek. That continuity is why developers hand us whole phases instead of single scopes.
Below is the full range of civil work we self-perform, from raw acreage to a street that is striped, swept, and ready for occupancy.
01
Site Development and Earthwork
Sitework
We clear and grub building pads, strip topsoil, and shape the ground to plan grade with GPS machine control. Cut and fill balances keep haul-off volumes low and compaction counts high. Every lift is tested to the specification of the engineer of record before the next layer goes down. The result is a pad that will not settle, shift, or surprise anyone later.
02
Underground Utilities
Utilities
Water, sewer, storm drain, and irrigation lines go in the ground the right way the first time. We trench, bed, lay, and backfill pipe with proper haunching and compaction at every stage. Pressure tests, mandrel pulls, and camera inspections document each line before it is covered. Every corridor we close is mapped, and as-builts are delivered with the package.
03
Concrete and Flatwork
Concrete
Footings, stem walls, slabs, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and ADA ramps are formed, poured, and finished by our own crews. We control joints, cure properly, and protect fresh concrete from Utah weather swings. Flatwork is checked for thickness, elevation, and slope so water goes where the design intends. Clean edges and tight tolerances are the standard, not the exception.
04
Roadway and Asphalt Paving
Paving
Subgrade proof rolls, aggregate base course, and asphalt lifts are placed to specification and tested along the way. We pave subdivision streets, access roads, and parking fields with attention to line, grade, and ride quality. Joints are sealed, transitions are flush, and striping is coordinated with the marking crew. The finished section reads smooth and drains clean.
05
Drainage and Storm Systems
Drainage
Detention and retention basins, culverts, catch basins, swales, and outfall structures are built to move storm water without erosion. We grade channels, set inlets to exact rim elevations, and armor outlets where flow concentrates. Hydroseed, riprap, and geotextile protection keep slopes stable through spring runoff. Drainage is engineered once and built to last for decades.
06
Project Management and Permitting
Management
Estimates, budgets, schedules, SWPPP documents, and municipal permits are managed in house from kickoff to closeout. We coordinate geotech, survey, inspections, and utility providers so trades never idle. Owners get weekly progress updates with photos and a clear look at cost to complete. At turnover you receive as-builts, compaction reports, and a warranty package.
